Rebekah McKinney earned a B.S. from Vanderbilt University in 1991. She received her law degree from the University of Alabama School Of Law in 1995, where she was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. Ms. McKinney was admitted to the Bar of the State of Alabama in 1996 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama , and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Ms. McKinney practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, tractor - trailer accidents, motorcycle accidents, nursing home negligence, civil rights, wage and hour, complex litigation/class actions, divorce, family law and custody. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Alabama Association for Justice and the Madison County Inns of Court. She currently serves as the President of the Alabama Association for Justice, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation and the Alabama Appleseed Center for Law and Justice. She has served as the Treasurer of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, Secretary and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Early Works Museum in Huntsville, Alabama as Finance Vice President and Treasure of the Junior League of Huntsville, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Alabama Constitution Village Foundation.
